Building Discipline and Patience in Your Business Ventures with Mike Carmody, Owner of MudMixer


Mike Carmody is the Owner of MudMixer, an innovative two-phase infusion system for mixing concrete, and the Owner of Red Dog Mobile Shelters, an aerodynamically anchored mobile tornado shelter. Mike is also a chartered financial analyst (CFA), a fellow of the society of actuaries (FSA), and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). He has been an instructor at SaltSolutions since 1998, guiding actuaries on all three levels of the CFA exam.

In addition to his entrepreneurial career, Mike instructs students and actuaries on how to pass the Investment and Financial Markets (IFM) Exam and Validation by Educational Experience (VEE) Exam at Coaching Actuaries. He is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with his family.

Day 7 - One Week officially in the Books

Working on that daily habit to exercise again. 7 Push Ups completed. Starting to get that strength back. For those following, there will be a point that you need to break up the push ups into different sets. That is ok and makes sense. Here's my recommendation, whether you do the push ups from your knees or standard push ups, try to do the most amount of reps in a specific set right before you are unable to do anymore. Rest two minutes and then start your next set. Another option is to split the sets in different parts of the day. As you build strength, you will be able to do more reps in each set.
